Removing and installing/replacing trailing link on spring strut dome (330i xDrive Wagon, 328d xDrive Wagon, 330i GT xDrive, 340i GT xDrive)

IMPORTANT: Driving without the trailing link is not permitted.
(risk of damage to the body).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove the left and right engine compartment COVER

Lever out covers (1) and release screws underneath.

Release screws (2) and remove trailing link (3).

Tightening torque 51 61 1AZ .

Installation note:

Replace screws and tighten to specified torque and then to angle of rotation.
