Remove the backrest covering with the cushion for the front seat partially

Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

Detach the backrest cover (1) in this area (2).
Disconnect the plug connection (3) and unclip the available cable clips.

Detach (1) the holder.
Loosen nuts (2).
