Loosening the brake caliper, left and right

Releasing the brake caliper

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
During work on the rear brake, it must be ensured that the button for the electromechanical parking brake cannot be pressed.

- Release the cable for the parking brake (1) from the holders (2).NOTE: Only perform the operation on the right side.
- Release the cable for brake pad wear indicator from rear axle support.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Pull brake caliper (2) down in direction of arrow.
The brake caliper must not hang on the brake hose.
- Tie the brake caliper (1) up with the special tool 2 413 317
