Installing the front module bracket

Check 

• Check seal (1)  of the front module bracket for damage.

Result 

» The seal of the front module bracket is damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the front module bracket.

• Position the front module bracket (2)  on the door.
• Lock the bayonet closures (1)  by rotating them.

• Connect all electrical connectors and lock.
• Clip in the vehicle wiring harness (1)  on the front module bracket (2)  .
• Install the rubber grommet (3)  of the Bowden cable for the inner door opener.
• Check the rubber grommet (3)  of the Bowden cable for the inner door opener for the correct fit.

Disconnecting all battery ground leads 

• See DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .

• Fasten the screws (1)  of the front module bracket (2)  .

• Move the power window up until the side window correctly snaps into the two holders.
• Remove adhesive tape.
