Install electric wastegate valve actuator

Repair kit for the electrical wastegate valve controller

• Check the contact surface (1)  at the turbocharger for contamination and clean if necessary.

• Feed in and position the electrical wastegate valve controller (1)  .

• Replace the spring (1)  .

  Parts:  Spring

• Feed the spring (1)  on the lever (2)  and position.

• Position the spring (1)  in the arrow direction.
• The spring (1)  must be installed correctly in the lever (2)  .

• Feed the control rod (1)  on the pin (3)  of the turbocharger (2)  and install it.

  Avoid any effect of a lateral force on the control rod (1)  in the process.

• The spring (1)  must be installed correctly on the control rod (3)  and lever (2)  of the turbocharger.

• Replace the circlip (1)  .

  Parts:  Circlip

• Guide in and install circlip (1)  .

  The circlip (1)  must snap-in audibly.

• Replace screws (1)  .

  Parts:  Screws

  The screws (1)  are included in the repair kit.

• Hand-tighten the bolts (1)  .
• Tighten the screws (1) crosswise using the special tool 2 469 240 .

  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Electrical controller drive to exhaust turbocharger
  Replace screws. Tighten screws crosswise.	Tightening torque	3 ± 0.5 Nm

• Connect and lock the connector (1)  .

  The connector (1)  must engage audibly.
