Remove the side trim panel in the footwell at the left A-pillar

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY .
• Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .

• Pull the hood release lever (1) to the rear.
• Lever out the locking wedge (2).
• Remove the hood release lever (1) to the inside.

• Loosen screw (1).
• Loosen the side trim panel (2) at the clips (3) and remove it toward the inside.
