(Removing rear door sill cover strip on left and right)

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Bending of plastic components  .
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components  .

• Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
• Continue unclipping the part as soon as possible without using the tool.

• Release expanding rivet (1).
• Release the door sill cover strip (2) upward at the clips (3) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) and remove.
