(Adjusting the outer A-pillar trim panel)

Precondition 

The door with the side window is adjusted properly.

Check 

• Check nominal dimension (1.2 mm ± 0.5 mm) of the protrusion of the side window to the A-pillar trim panel.

Result 

» The nominal dimension is not achieved.

Measure

• Adjust the A-pillar trim panel as described below.
• Remove cover (1) and release the screw (2) under it.

• Adjust the protrusion of side window (1) to A-pillar trim panel (2) on the adjusting element (3).

  The nominal dimension of the protrusion of the side window glass to the A-pillar trim panel: 1.2 mm ± 0.5 mm

• Tighten down screw (2).
  (TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS)
  
  

  Outer A-pillar trim panel to body
  Screw TS5x20	Tightening torque	2 Nm

• Mount the cover (1).
