Remove rear door trim

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE EMERGENCY OPERATION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP FROM THE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

• Remove covers (1)  .

• Tighten the door handle.
• Loosen screw (1)  .

• Loosen screws (1)  .

• Unclip door trim panel (2)  from clips (1)  using special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) .
• Unclip door trim panel (2)  inwards from the clamps of the window recess finisher strip.

• Release detent (1)  and guide out Bowden cable (2)  .

  Bowden cable (2)  guides itself out of the door handle in the process.

• Unlock available plug connections and disconnect.
• Remove door trim panel.
