Removing the water collection strip on the windshield

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components. 
Scratches, surface damage. 

• Protect working area.
• Handle tools and components carefully.

• Release gutter strip (1)  from the roof trim strip in area (2)  .
• Release gutter strip (1)  from clamps (3)  , slide it in the arrow direction and guide it out from retaining lug (4)  .
