- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part as soon as possible without using the tool.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR THE PEDAL MECHANISM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SIDE COVER ON THE DASHBOARD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .

- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part as soon as possible without using the tool.
- Release the door sill cover strip (1) at the clips (2) .
- Release the door sill cover strip (1) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) upward out of the clips (3) .
- Guide out the door sill cover strip (1) and remove it.
