Removing the bumper strip on the front side panel

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components. 
Scratches, surface damage. 

• Protect working area.
• Handle tools and components carefully.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Release the bumper strip (1)  with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) to the outside from the clips (2)  .
• Release the bumper strip (1)  from the detents (arrows) and remove it.
