Removing the center console

Preliminary work 

• Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE-SPECIFIC HIGH-VOLTAGE OR LOW-VOLTAGE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE STORAGE TRAY FOR THE NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LOWER FRONT CENTER CONSOLE .

• Release and remove air ducts (1)  from detents (2)  .

• Loosen screws (1)  .

• Loosen screws (1)  .
• Unlock plug connections (2)  and disconnect.

  NOTE: To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
• Carefully lift the rear of the center console (1)  .
• Feed out the wiring harness from the center console (1)  and unlock and disconnect any plug connections.
• Guide out and remove center console (1)  .
