Removing the 12-volt socket (front bottom center console)

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE STORAGE TRAY FOR THE NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LOWER FRONT CENTER CONSOLE .

• Turn the head of the special tool (1)  to the left until the marks (arrows) align.
• Carefully insert the special tool (1)  in the 12-volt socket (3)  .
• If necessary, carefully turn the special tool (1)  to the left until the recesses (2)  of the special tool (1)  are fixed in the contacts (4)  of the 12-volt socket (3)  .
• Turn the head of the special tool (1)  to the right until the special tool (1)  locks in the 12-volt socket (3)  .

• Pull the special tool 0 496 588 (61 0 250)  with the 12-volt socket (1)  from the bottom front center console (2)  .

• Remove the ring light (1)  from the bottom front center console (2)  .
