Removing the bumper strip from the front door

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components. 
Scratches, surface damage. 

• Protect working area.
• Handle tools and components carefully.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Release the bumper strip (1)  at the adhesive strips in the dotted line area.
• Lever the bumper strip (1)  out with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) outwards at all the clips.
• Remove bumper strip (1)  .
• Remove the adhesive residue from the door.
