Removing ADCAM camera (Mid variant/high-end version) with lens hood

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

The heating of ADCAM camera is integrated in the windshield. If the heating is faulty, the windshield must be replaced.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The camera lenses and the surrounding surfaces in the area of the cameras must not be contaminated! All work must be prepared and carried out in a low-dust environment. Wearing of disposable gloves is mandatory. Only start the work once all new parts are present. If necessary, clean the contaminated surfaces and camera lenses.

- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Pull out plug connection (2) from interior mirror (3) slightly upwards.
- Unlock plug connection (2)
and disconnect.
- Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
- Unlock connector housing (2) and set it aside.
- Remove cable (3) from guide (4) and set it aside.
- Unclip the cable bracket (arrows).
- Lift guide pin (1) carefully.
- Unlock the locks (2)
in arrow direction.
- Tilt down the lens hood (1) of the ADCAM camera slightly and remove it from the guides (2) .
- Remove the lens hood (1) of the ADCAM camera from the guides (3) .
- Guide out and remove the lens hood (1) of the ADCAM camera.
