Brake test on the rear axle on the brake test stand (all-wheel drive)
- Drive the vehicle with the rear axle into the brake test stand.
- Set the selector lever to N (Neutral).
- Run engine at idle speed.
The brake test stand starts automatically.
The control unit runs a plausibility check (comparison of wheel RPMs) to detect that the vehicle is on the brake test stand within a few seconds and switches to the mode for the brake test stand.
With the mode for the brake test stand activated and EMF actuators triggered, the indicator light for the electromechanical parking brake (EMF) blinks slowly.
- Press brake pedal.
- Read the maximum brake forces on the left and right.
- NB: Drive the vehicle off the chassis dynamometer only when the roller is stationary.
