Install the trim on the side panel

Precondition

Front door is open.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Mechanical effects.
Paint damage.

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Position the new trim (1) on the retaining lugs (2) and engage it.

Position the door sill trim panel (1) on the vehicle with the trim (3).
Clip in the door sill trim panel (1) along the dotted line (2).

Clean adhesive area (1) on the side panel.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324
Clip in the trim (4) at clips (2) and (3).
Press on the trim (4) firmly at the adhesive strips in the adhesive area (1).

Clip in clips (3).
Tighten the screws (1).

Tighten nuts (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Undershield, side
Hexagon screw	Tightening torque	2.6 Nm
Plastic nut	Tightening torque	2.6 Nm
