- Guide the high pressure line (2) and low pressure line (4) out and upwards.
- Mount the special tool 2 286 732 on the high pressure line (2) of the air conditioning compressor and secure with the screw on the side of vehicle (1).
- Mount the special tool 2 286 730 on the low pressure line (4) of the air conditioning compressor and secure with the screw on the side of vehicle (5).

- Preparing the connection to the A/C service station:
- Connect the high pressure line of A/C service station (3) to high-pressure connection of special tool 2 286 732.
- Connect the low pressure line of the A/C service station (6) to the low pressure connection of the special tool 2 286 730.
- Mount the special tool 2 412 932
on to the refrigerant line (1).
- Mount the special tool 2 414 998
on to the refrigerant line (2).
- Use the screws (3) from the refrigerant lines that were removed earlier for mounting the air conditioning condenser.
- Tighten the screws (3).

- Connect special tools 2 412 932
and 2 414 998
using special tool 2 285 575.
- Mount the special tool 2 420 896 instead of expansion valve 1 as shown and secure with the screws on the side of vehicle (1) of the removed expansion valve 1.

- Mount the refrigerant lines (3) on the special tool 2 420 896 and secure them with the nut on the side of vehicle (2).

- Mount the special tool 5 A3B 4F6
instead of expansion valve 2 as shown and secure with the screws (1) of the expansion valve 2.

- Fit refrigerant line (2) and position it correctly.
- Tighten nut (1).

- Mount the special tool 5 A3B 4F6
instead of expansion valve 3 as shown and fasten it with the screws (1) of expansion valve 3.

- Carefully attach the refrigerant line (2) and position it correctly.
- Tighten nut (1).

- Install the special tool 5 A3B 4F7
instead of the refrigerant shutoff valve.
- Fit the refrigerant lines (1).
- Tighten the screws (2).
