Disconnect the refrigerant line from the expansion valve

CAUTION: Residual pressure in the heating and air conditioning system  .
Injury hazard! 

• Wear safety goggles and protective gloves when disconnecting the refrigerant line.
• Close the refrigerant lines with seal plugs.

NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.

• Open the holder (1).
• Remove refrigerant line from the holder (1) and set it aside.

• Loosen nut (1).
• Remove the refrigerant line (2).
