Disconnecting the negative battery cable of the auxiliary battery in the engine compartment

Prerequisite 

Check 

• Check whether an auxiliary battery is installed in the engine compartment.

Instructions for 12-V dual storage system NOTES ON THE 48-V BATTERY .

Result 

» The auxiliary battery is not installed in the engine compartment.

Measure

• Install the right rear engine compartment cover.

Result 

» 48-V battery is installed.

Measure

• Disconnect the negative battery cable of the 48-V battery.

Result 

» Vehicle electrical system support battery is installed.

Measure 

• Disconnect the negative battery cable of the vehicle electrical system support battery.

Result 

» 12-V dual storage battery is installed.

Measure

• Disconnect the negative battery cable of the 12-V dual storage battery.
