Remove The Rear Door

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Mechanical effects .
Paint damage .

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Open door.
Pull lock (1) upward direction and disconnect plug connection.
Secure door against closing.
Loosen screw (2) at door stop.

Release screws (1) on the two hinge elements.
Detach door in upward direction and set down on a suitable surface.
