Install the spindle drive of the lower trunk lid

• Before installing the spindle drive (1), make sure that the retaining spring (2) is in its initial position.
• Check the retaining spring (2) for damage.

  If the retaining spring (2) is damaged, replace the spindle drive (1).

• Insert the spindle drive (1).
• Connect connector (3).

• Press the ball socket (1) onto the ball pin, until the retaining spring correctly and audibly engages.
