Remove A-Pillar Reinforcement

• Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel.

  Dimension a = 20 mm from the hinge mount.

• Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel. Dimension a = 40 mm.

• Open welded connections in area (1).
  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (2).

  When doing this, do not damage the other spot-welded adhesive joints below the area (3).

• Release and remove the A-pillar outer part from the cavity sealing (4).

• Remove the cavity sealing (1).
• Release the nozzle (2) and feed through inwards.

• Loosen welded connections in areas (1).
• Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2).
• Detach the reinforcement of the A-pillar from the cavity sealing (3).

• Carry out a rough separating cut (1) from the reinforcement of the hinge mount.
• Release the welded connections in areas (2) and remove the reinforcement (3) of the hinge mount.

• Release the welded connections in areas (1) and remove section (2) of the hinge mount.
