NOTE:

Improper routing of cables and wiring harnesses.
Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions.

- Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.
- Insert and install the wiring harness (1) for the transmission module.
- Guide in the wiring harness section of the transmission wiring harness and install.
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Cable bracket on rear cylinder head/transmission M6 x 20 tightening torque 8 Nm - Connect connector (2) and lock audibly.
- Connect connector (3) and lock audibly.
- Connect connector (4) and lock audibly.
Fastening the transmission
- Move the transmission (3) to the installation position.
- Replace screws (2).

- Tighten down screws (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Transmission cross member to body M8 tightening torque 19 Nm - Secure the cable with the clamp (1).
- Loosening the luggage strap (1).
- Remove special tools 2 219 012 and 0 495 498 (23 4 050) .
- Secure clamps (2).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (1) of the transmission wiring harness.
- Secure the clamps (arrows).
- Unlock the plug connection (1) and detach from the air conditioning compressor.
- Release the clamps (arrows).
- Insert cable clip (2) in direction of arrow and install.
The lock (1) must audibly engage.
- Guide in and lock cable clip (3).
The cable clip (3) must engage audibly.
- Insert cable clip (2) in direction of arrow and install.
The locks (1) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connectors (1) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connectors (1) must engage audibly.
