Installing C-pillar trim panel

- Before performing any work on the Airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (Airbag itself) facing upwards.

- Replace any damaged part or ones that have been dropped.

Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Feed in the C-pillar trim panel (2) and install.
- Tighten down screw (4)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
C-pillar trim panel to body Screw 4, 8x19 Tightening torque 3.0 Nm - Install the expanding rivet (3) .
- Tighten screw and mount cover (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Body pillar trim Screw 4, 8x38 Tightening torque 3.0 Nm
Follow-up work
