Removing spindle drive of the bottom trunk lid

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING TRUNK LID LOCKING SWITCH AT BOTTOM .
- Refer to REMOVING BOTTOM TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING SOFT-CLOSING AUTOMATIC DRIVE ON THE TRUNK LID BOTTOM .
- Before removing the spindle drive (1), make sure that the ball socket (2) is relieved.
- Slightly raise the retaining spring (3) with a small screwdriver (4) as shown and lift the spindle drive (2) away from the ball hub.
- Slightly raise the retaining spring (3) with a small screwdriver (4) as shown and lift the spindle drive (2) away from the ball hub.
- Disconnect plug connection (5).
- Remove the spindle drive (1).NOTE: Feed out the spindle drive from the left and remove.
