Installing the tailgate lock of the upper trunk lid

Check 

• Check the retaining lug (1)  on the Bowden cable (2)  .

  Result 

  » The retaining lug (1)  is damaged or is not present.

  Measure 

• Replace the Bowden cable (2)  .
• Install the tailgate lock (4)  .
• Tighten down screws (3)  .
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Trunk lid lock
  Screw	tightening torque	19 Nm

• Connect both connectors (2)  .
• Hook the Bowden cable (1)  and lock it in place correctly.

• Refer to INSTALLING BOTTOM TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE BOTTOM TRUNK LID LOCKING SWITCH .
