Install the knock sensors on the right
Precondition
Ignition is switched off.
The vehicle battery is disconnected.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When installing the knock sensors, the tightening torque must be observed.
Non-compliance with the tightening torque can lead to malfunction.

- Clean the contact surfaces of the knock sensors at the cylinder head.
- Position the knock sensors and secure them with bolts (3).
- Tighten down screws (3).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
The connectors (2) must engage audibly.
- Mount the clamp (1) on the intake plenum.
- Connect positive battery cable to the starter motor.
- Secure positive battery cable at the clamp (2).
- Tighten nut (1).

- Connect the connector (1) to the starter and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
