Remove the door sill trim panel

Loosen screws (1).
Loosen nut (2).

Unclip the door sill trim panel (1) with a suitable special tool from the rear starting from the detents (2) on the retaining strip (3).

Slide the door sill trim panel to the front in the direction of the arrow.
Release the detents (1) from the front retaining strip (2).
