Removing the LED in the front storage compartment

Preliminary work 

• Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
• Refer to REMOVING CENTER ARMREST .
• Refer to REMOVING THE SPEAKER TRIM AT THE DASHBOARD .
• Refer to REMOVING CENTRAL INFORMATION DISPLAY (CID) .
• Refer to REMOVING CUP HOLDER .
• Refer to REMOVING THE CONNECTING SOCKET OF THE USB AUDIO INTERFACE IN THE FRONT STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE WIRELESS CHARGING STORAGE .
• Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER STACK MODULE .
• Refer to REMOVING CENTER FRESH AIR GRILLE WITH INTEGRATED AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL UNIT .
• Refer to REMOVING DECORATIVE TRIM ON CENTER CONSOLE .

• Disconnect the connector (1).
• Unclip the cable clip (2).

• Loosen screws (1).
• Loosen the detents (2) and remove the cover (3).

• Release detent (1).
• Remove the LED module together with the fiber optic cable (2) from the storage compartment (3).

• Expand the guides of the LED module (1) and remove the LED module from the fiber optic cable (2).
