Removing the front emblem

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Mask off the working area with plastic adhesive tape to prevent paint damage.
- Heat the emblem (1) carefully with a hot air blower and release it from the adhesive strip with the special tool 0 496 571 (00 9 327) .

- Carefully lever out the badge (1) from the grommets (2) and remove it.
- Remove the adhesive residue from the hood.
