Remove rear axle differential
NOTE:

Damage to rear axle differential.
If the rear axle differential drops down, persons can be injured or the rear axle differential can be damaged.

- Secure the rear axle differential using a luggage strap.
- Release nut (1) .
- Release ground cable (2)
from the rear axle differential.
- Lift the special tool 0 496 009 (33 5 200) with the special tool 2 219 012 and support the rear axle differential.
- Secure the rear axle differential with the special tool 0 496 080 (33 5 206) on the special tool 0 496 009 (33 5 200)

- Release nut (1) .
- Pull the screw (2)
out of the rear axle support.
- Loosen screws (1)
.
- Lower the rear axle differential (1) using the special tool 2 219 012 and remove it.
