Removing convertible top bow, front
Precondition
- Battery charger connected.
CAUTION:
Folding up of convertible top through loss of pressure in hydraulic cylinders.

- When carrying out all repair work, secure soft top and soft top compartment lid with a suitable support tool against collapsing. Ensure soft top is supported in the middle.
- Bring the convertible top (1) in the half opened position.
Secure the convertible top (1) from collapsing by using the support 2 452 010 if necessary.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Fold down the seal (2) for the windshield panel.NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Mark the position of the convertible roof brace (1) on the convertible top linkage.
- Release the screw (2).
- Fold down the convertible roof brace (1) in arrow direction and feed out the edge stripping (2) of the convertible top fabric in arrow direction.
- Feed out the convertible roof brace (1).
