Installing the seal for the roof frame

CAUTION: Folding up of convertible top through loss of pressure in hydraulic cylinders.
Injury hazard! Injury hazard by trapping!

When carrying out all repair work, secure soft top and soft top compartment lid with a suitable support tool against collapsing. Ensure soft top is supported in the middle.

Bring the convertible top (1) in the half opened position.
If necessary, secure the convertible top (1) from collapsing by using the support 2 452 010 .

NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Position the seal carrier (2) of the seal carrier for the windshield panel.
Turn in screw (1) several rotations.
Position the washers (3).
Align the screws (1) at the previously set marks and tighten them.

Seal carrier to hood linkage
Oval-head screw	Tightening torque	5 Nm
