Removing the seal for the windshield panel
Precondition
- Battery charger connected.
CAUTION:
Folding up of convertible top through loss of pressure in hydraulic cylinders.

- When carrying out all repair work, secure soft top and soft top compartment lid with a suitable support tool against collapsing. Ensure soft top is supported in the middle.
- Bring the convertible top (1) in the half opened position.
Secure the convertible top (1) from collapsing by using the support 2 452 010 if necessary.
NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side. - Mark the positions of the screws (1).
- Note down the number and position of the washers (3).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the seal carrier (2) of the seal for the windshield panel.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the seal (2) for the windshield panel.
- In case of replacement only:
Detach the seal (1) for the windshield panel from the insert (2) made of metal.
