- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Check the outer door well cover (1) for damage; replace if necessary.
- Coat the outer window recess finisher strip (1) with a suitable lubricant prior to the installation.
- Attach the outer door well cover (1) to the adapter (2) of the door well cover at an angle that is not too steep (danger of scratches) in the forward area.
- Allow the outer door well cover (1) to lie flush on the adapter (2).
- Press the outer door well cover (1) on over the entire length.
