NOTE:

Improper routing of cables and wiring harnesses .
Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions .

- Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.
- Insert and install the wiring harness (1)
for the transmission module.
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2) of the transmission wiring harness.
- Secure clamps (1)
.
- Secure the clamp (1)
.
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Secure clamp (arrow).
Fastening the transmission
- Lift the transmission cross member (1) with the transmission in the installation position.
- Tighten down screws (2) .
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Loosening the luggage strap (1) .
- Remove special tools 2 219 012
and 0 495 498 (23 4 050)

- Position the holder (2) .
- Tighten the screws (1) .
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Attach the connector (2)
in arrow direction to the holder (3)
and lock it.
The lock (1) must engage audibly.
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (4) of the transmission wiring harness into the holder (arrow).
- Secure the clamp (3) .
- Connect connectors (1)
and (2)
lock.
The connectors (1) and (2) engage audibly.
- Insert and install the cover (2) .
- Ensure that all locks (1)
engage audibly.
- Guide in and install wiring harness section (2) of the transmission wiring harness.
- Secure the clamps (arrows).
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Fasten the cable clip (1) .
- Secure the clamps (arrows).
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (3) of the transmission wiring harness.
- Make sure that the lock (2) engages correctly.
- Tighten down screws (1) .

- Secure the clamps (arrows).
- Feed in the cable bracket (2)
and install it.
