- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING UNDERSHIELD AT THE FRONT .
- Refer to REMOVING SIDE UNDERBODY PLANKING .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TANK COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT SILL TRIM .

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Release the expanding rivet (1).
- Release the door sill trim panel (1) with a suitable tool starting with the detents at the rear (2).
- Release door sill trim panel (1) from the detents along the dotted line,
- Guide out and remove door sill trim panel (1) with the help of a support person.
