Installing the rear emblem

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Notes on component bonding using adhesive tape form the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

Replace the emblem.
Parts: Emblem
If applicable, remove adhesive residue from the tailgate.
Clean bonding surface (1).
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324

Adhere to the air drying time of 2 min.
Check guide pins (2).
The guide pins (2) must not be damaged or missing.
- If installed: Installing the rearview camera (RFK)
Check the sealing ring (1) for fit accuracy.

Insert the rearview camera (RFK) (3) in the socket of emblem (4).
Close the lid (2) and clip in with the detents (1).

Attach the emblem (2) with the rearview camera (RFK).
Connect connectors (1) and lock.

Detach the liner from adhesive tape of the emblem (1).
Position the emblem (1) correctly with guide pins (2) and press on firmly.
