Removing rubber window seal
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to PREPARING THE SPECIAL TOOL .
- Refer to REMOVING DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERIOR MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS .
- Refer to REMOVE THE WINDOW FRAME TRIM FROM THE FRONT DOOR .
- Remove rubber window seal (1) in the top area of the trim strip (2) .
- Feed out rubber window seal (1) together with the trim strip (2) .
