Cleaning the brake caliper

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Do not apply brake pad paste to brake pads and guides!

Clean the contact surfaces (1) of the brake pistons (6 pieces) with brake cleaner
Check dust boots for damage; replace if necessary
Check the retaining spring (2) for damage and correct fit

Do not mechanically clean the contact surfaces to prevent damage to the surface coating
