Installing the tension spring for the trunk lid
CAUTION:
Shutting hood or trunk lid

- Support hood/trunk lid in fully open position with the aid of a suitable device
CAUTION:
Tension spring

- Wear hand protection while removing and installing the tension spring
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical
- Positions (1) up to (3) influence the closing force of the tension spring
- Feed in the tension spring (1) at the hinge (3)
Reattach the tension spring (1) on the rear holder (2) in the same position
