(Installing the tailgate trim panel)

• Check the clips (1) for damage and replace if necessary

• Position the tailgate trim panel (2) and secure with expanding rivets (1)
• If installed:  Attach and lock the plug connection of the switch for the automatic tailgate operation

• Clip in the tailgate trim panel (2) with the clips (1)

  NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical
• Clip in the trim panel for the hinge of the trunk lid (4) on the clip fastening (3)
• Fasten expanding rivet (2)
• Clip in lugs (1)

• Position the bracket of the warning triangle (1) and clip it into the latch mechanisms (2)

• Install the warning triangle (2)
