Adjust the lower part of the tailgate lock lower section

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions between the trunk lid and bumper cover (arrows)

Measure 

• Adjusting tailgate lock
• Lever out the covers (1) with a suitable screwdriver and remove
• Loosen screws (2) until the tailgate lock can be shifted
• Adjust the trunk lid lock in such a way that the tailgate has the predefined gap dimension to the bumper cover

• Tighten down screws (2)
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Tailgate lock to body
  Hexagon screw M8x20	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Install and clip in the covers (1)
• Adjust the stop pad (1) by twisting in arrow directions
