Remove Cover Housing
- Detach the retaining strap for emergency actuation (1) from the guide (2).
- Loosen the sealing lip (1) from the wheel arch.
- Pierce the cover housing (1) in the highlighted areas (2) using a small screwdriver.
- Hold cover bowl under tension.
- Insert the screwdriver no more than 10 mm deep.
- Unlock the detents in a sequence from (1) to (4) using a screwdriver.
- Turn and remove the cover housing (1) from the side panel.
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Remove the retaining strap for emergency operation (3).
- Close the fuel filler flap and remove the cover housing (1).
