Removing and installing/replacing weather strip on inner front door (330i GT xDrive, 340i GT xDrive)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- The " INSTRUCTIONS on installation of window guides" serve as the basis for this repair instructions and must be observed without fail.
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
If weather strip is reused, make sure it is not bent.
If weather strip is reused, make sure it is not bent.
Detach retaining elements (1) from weather strip (2).
Detach weather strip (2) from front door in direction of arrow.
Installation note:
If necessary, remove clamps from weather strip and attach to door.
Replace faulty clamps.
Installation note:
Guide (1) and shaped part (2) of the weather strip (4) must not be damaged.
Shaped part (2) must be correctly threaded into the door.
Retaining elements (3) must not be damaged
Moisten weather strip (4) before installation with APPROVED LUBRICANT .
Installation note:
Ensure that weather strip (1) has the right installation position on door (2) and side window (3).
