Removing and installing (replacing) power window regulator in left or right front door (330i xDrive Wagon, 328d xDrive Wagon)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front SOUND INSULATION .

Removal:

Side window glass must be opened to dimension (A).

(A) = 145 mm

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Do not bend mounting clips (1) too far.

Carefully unlock power window mounting clips (1) in direction of arrow.

Gently press door window glass (2) upwards to snap retaining lug completely out of door window glass bore hole (2).

Slide door window glass (1) fully upwards and fix in the window frame with adhesive tape (2).

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release cable from holder in area (2).

Release nuts (3) and feed out power window regulator (4).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ .

Replacement

Remount FLAT MOTOR for power window regulator.

Installation:

Feed in power window regulator (4) and secure nut (3).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ .

Lock plug connection (1).

Clip in cable in area (2).

Gently press window glass (1) into the latch mechanism (2) towards bottom.

NOTE: Make sure the retaining lugs are correctly engaged in the door window glass bore hole.
