Installing the retaining pin for linkage of air flap control above
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING SEAL FOR FRONT HOOD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER FOR THE CENTER ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Open the air flaps to the left and right before installing the retaining pin (1) .
- Note the installation position of the retaining pin (1) .
- Install the retaining pin (1) and let it engage audibly.

- Refer to INSTALL THE FRONT HOOD SEAL .
