- Clean the bonding surfaces on the inner door panel.CONSUMABLE DESCRIPTION
Adhesive remover 1 l, Can 83110009712 - If necessary, detach the pre-cut cutouts (2) from the template (1) for the screws and the openings.
- Prior to bonding, align the template (1)
on the inner door panel (2)
.
The edge of the template (1) and the bending radius of the inner door panel (2) must run parallel.
The marks and the cutouts (3) of the template (1) must match with the respective bore of the inner door panel (2) .
- Suspend the seal (1) with open lip facing the inner part above the door.
- Sealing joint in area (A) position.
- Glue seal as follows:
- Gradually detach protective film.
- Align the seal (1) corresponding to the specified dimensions (X) or the templates and press on lightly.
- Check the position of the seal (1) and correct if necessary
- Do not overstretch or compress the seal (1) when positioning it
- The passage of seal (1) when positioning it must be maximum 30 mm.
- Always apply pressure to seal (1) perpendicular to the bonding surface.
- Press seal (1) with firm thumb pressure.
Area Dimension x A 16 mm B 15 mm C 5 mm D 6 mm E 41 mm - Set up a sealing joint in the area (A) , if necessary, shorten the seal (1) accordingly.
